We recommend an interested tourist to snatch a copy of ‘Through the Green Door’ written by Nigel Jenkins and published by Penguin Books. The first publication was titled ‘Gwalia in Khasia’ and was published by Pont Books, Gomer Press in 1995. The book is a well-researched rendition of not only the first Welsh missionary Rev. Thomas Jones but also has a lot to say about our Khasi people and our lifestyle.
