Expeditions in search of Living Root Bridges

Expeditions in search of Living Root Bridges in the Khasi Hills

Patrick A.Rogers, USA had stayed with us in June 2011 and in January 2014. We had put up on 18th June 2014 a link to his blogspot about his discovering a Living Root Bridge in Tynrong Village at the bottom of the valley facing the resort. People have been visiting his blogspot after visiting our website.

He has sent me links to his blogspots of his sojourns in Dawki, Pynursla and Khadarshnong valleys lying to our east. I am happy to know about his sojourns and we look forward to undertake more trips to find and document more of these Living Root Bridges and Structures and encourage flow of tourists to these remote locations thereby helping these communities to partake in the development of tourism in these areas.
